Posted on May 6, 2010

Novelist Kathryn Stockett is using a Google-powered reader map on her website to indicate where people are reading her novel, The Help, in North America. You can see the map in action here on website on penguingroup.com. It is an interesting interactive feature. The map is powered by ZeeMaps. ZeeMaps is a free service, so any author can add a similar reader map to their website. The website lets you create a map and then provides HTML code that can be plugged into your website.
