Andie MacDowell to Star in Lifetime Films Based on Patricia Cornwell Novellas

Patricia Cornwell has no problem getting A-list actresses to play her characters. Patricia Cornwell's bestselling series about medical examiner Kay Scarpetta will be coming to the big screen with Angelina Jolie playing the lead role.

Cornwell also has two films coming to Liftime based on novellas she wrote.

Andie MacDowell will be playing Patricia Cornwell's character Monique Lamont, an ambitious, manipulative Boston District Attorney, in both films. The novellas were originally serialized in the New York Times.

The films are called At Risk and The Front. MacDowell is a great actress so these should be fun to watch. Take a look:
