BookExpo America '99 Los Angeles Convention Center April 28 - May 2, 1999 BookExpo America (BEA), the largest book industry trade show in North America, will be held in Los Angeles April 30 - May 2, 1999. 25,672 industry professionals attended the convention in Chicago in 1998 where booksellers, publishers, media, and international representatives including agents, scouts and foreign publishers benefited from an inclusive atmosphere which focused on every sector of the book industry.
