Contests

Creative Hive, an integrated marketing company, has announced the "Buzz Your Way To A Best Seller Writers Contest". If your manuscript is selected to win the Grand Prize, the PR and promotions firm will represent you to the literary agency circuit and to the mainstream publishing industry for 12 months.

The North American Guild of Beer Writers (NAGBW) is currently accepting entries for the Quill & Tankard Awards competition, which is held annually to recognize excellence in writing about beer. The Quill & Tankard Awards competition is open to all writers, including non-members. Applications for this year's competition must be postmarked by June 16, 2001.

Blue Mountain Arts, which is now part of the Excite network, is running its 14th Tri-Annual Poetry Card Contest. Prizes include four 1st place prizes of $300, four 2nd place prizes of $150 each and eight 3rd place prizes of $50. The deadline is June 20th, 2001.

The deadline for 1st quarter entries to L. Ron Hubbard's annual Writers of the Future contest is June 30.
