Posted on July 7, 2010
NPR created this video about an amazing story of a writer who suddenly could not read. Howard Engel, a writer of detective stories, woke up one morning to discover that he could not read. Howard Engel had suffered from a stroke. He recovered in the hospital, but he was left with Alexia, which is also known as word blindless.
