Subject: Bill Shunn's Article
I just wanted to let y'all know how very nice and helpful your
contributing writers are. I had some questions regarding conflicts
between what I'd been told by my writing professors and Bill Shunn's
article on formatting manuscripts.
I e-mailed Mr. Shunn, and he took the time to give me a prompt, in-depth
reply to my question. Saying that, I took advantage of the gentleman and
fired off another question. Mr. Shunn again gave me a prompt reply (less
than 24 hours). He was generous with his time, experience and
information. As a barely published writer (one short story and newspaper
columns), I truly appreciate this.
Please tell your readers not to be afraid to e-mail the "big guys." They
are willing to help new writers get ahead. This alone makes me want to
push myself toward my goals.
