Subject: Bill Shunn's Article

I just wanted to let y'all know how very nice and helpful your contributing writers are. I had some questions regarding conflicts between what I'd been told by my writing professors and Bill Shunn's article on formatting manuscripts.

I e-mailed Mr. Shunn, and he took the time to give me a prompt, in-depth reply to my question. Saying that, I took advantage of the gentleman and fired off another question. Mr. Shunn again gave me a prompt reply (less than 24 hours). He was generous with his time, experience and information. As a barely published writer (one short story and newspaper columns), I truly appreciate this.

Please tell your readers not to be afraid to e-mail the "big guys." They are willing to help new writers get ahead. This alone makes me want to push myself toward my goals.
