Description: West Branch is a magazine of poetry, fiction, essays and reviews. It is published three times a year. The magazine is funded by Bucknnell University and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

Needs: Poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and translation.

Length: Send six poems or thirty pages of prose maximum. Poetry should be saved and uploaded as a single file.

Rights: First North American serial rights.

Payment: $50 for poetry and $.05/word for prose with a maximum payment of $100. They also provide two contributor copies and a one-year West Branch subscription.

Tips: West Branch reads unsolicited manuscripts between August 1st and April 1st.

How to Submit: Submit through the West Branch submissions manager. They prefer to receive no more than two submissions from a single contributor in a given reading period.
