Description: Bennington Review is a national print journal featuring innovative, intelligent, and moving poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and film writing. The magazine is published at Bennington College in Vermont. It was originally established in 1966 and returned in 2016 after a 30 year hiatus.

Needs: Bennington Review is looking for poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and film writing. Work must be previously unpublished in print or online.

Rights: First North American serial rights.

Payment: Payment is $100 for prose of six pages or less, $200 for prose of over six pages, and $20 per poem. They also pay two contributor copies and a copy of the subsequent issue.

Tips: When it comes to film writing the Bennington Review says it is not looking for evaluative reviews. They want "essays that engage with cinema in a unique and/or personal way."

How to Submit: Submit through the journal's Submittable form. Simultaneous submissions are accepted but notify promptly if your work is published elsewhere.
