Description: in 1996 The Writers Post Journal is a brand new, just launched, print and E Journal. It features all genres of literary works, and welcomes new and established authors.

Needs: Welcomes all genre, especially humor and inspriational pieces. Short stories, personal essays, 'how to' pieces, poetry.

Length: No minimum length. Short stores max 5,000 words. Personal essays max 1,500 words. 5 poem max.

Rights: Non-exclusive, 'one time' use. Author retains rights. Sample Agreement located on website.

Payment: This is a both a paying and non paying market. Due to the newness of WPJ, we will pay up eight contributers a month for fiction, non fiction, and art pieces. $5.00 - $25.00_x000D_ No payment for poetry._x000D_ All contributors will have author bio inlcuded in journal._x000D_ All Contributors recieve an E-version of WPJ.

How to Submit: When querying Snail Mail please include SASE._x000D_ Query stories over 2,500 words. Paste story in body of email, if accepted a file copy will be requested._x000D_ Query for artwork quidelines._x000D_ Accepts simultaneous submissions if stated in query letter._x000D_ Accepts already previously published material.

Response Time: 1 week on quieries. 4 weeks on poems and MSS.
