Posted on March 5, 1999

WeddingBells Inc., a North American media company and publisher of the leading wedding magazine in Canada for the past 15 years, announces the U.S. launch of WeddingBells, a national magazine that will publish biannually with six regional titles serving Dallas, Chicago, Boston, New York, Southern California and the San Francisco Bay area. The magazine's circulation of more than 325,000 copies per issue places it in the top three magazines for bridal market penetration on a per-issue basis.

"The magazine combines the style and quality of a national magazine with the local relevance of a city magazine - a mixture that will entertain and inspire readers," says Diane Hall, President & Publisher, WeddingBells Inc. "We are confident that WeddingBells will be very successful in the United States, garnering significant market share. More importantly, we'll expand the market by covering the whole stage of engaged couples, benefiting both readers and advertisers."

The magazine also offers a comprehensive website. The 600-page site currently draws more than 1.3 million page views each month. An email newsletter, WeddingBells.insite, is sent weekly to 20,000 subscribers.
