Website Provides Free Comic Book Gallery

Posted on February 5, 1999

Comicseries Online, an online publishing company, has announced an introductory gallery of free comic books on the web. For the Japanese Anime fans, Manga-style comic books are among the free comics being offered. Readers are also able to access "Manwha", which are Korean-style comic books. Since they have been created from different cultural context, Korean Manwha comic books differ from Japanese Manga considerably in subject matter and theme.

The comic books have been translated into English for English-speaking fans. Most of the books offered in this site are already hugely popular in Asia. The wide variety of free comics in the introductory gallery range from a love story for the hopeless romantics to a journey into a mystical land for the romanticists.
