WebSideStory Launches StatMarket

WebSideStory, a provider of Internet traffic analysis has announced the launch of StatMarket, a dynamically updated website that publishes demographic and computing data collected from over twenty-five thousand websites and ten million unique visitors a day.

All data published on StatMarket is collected from websites using WebSideStory's HitBOX Tracker, a free traffic analysis tool for websites. StatMarket provides statistics in categories such as Web browser version, plug-ins loaded, major ISPs used, referring search engines, screen resolution, screen colors, operating system, foreign domains and JavaScript version.

"By combining the information gathered from thousands of Web sites and millions of users per day, StatMarket defines a new standard for the most accurate data on Web user trends," said Blaise Barrelet, president of WebSideStory. "StatMarket can be relied upon as the leading source of online user information."
