TV Guide Inc. Announces New Executive Management Structure

TV Guide, Inc. has announced a restructuring of its executive management team. Anthea Disney, who has served as the company's Chairman and C.E.O. since the closing of the TV Guide magazine acquisition earlier this year, has stepped-down to assume expanded responsibilities within News Corporation, one of the company's principal shareholders.

Joe Kiener, previously President of TV Guide Inc. and Chairman of TV Guide Magazine Group, has been appointed Chairman and C.E.O. of TV Guide, Inc. Peter C. Boylan III, previously Executive Vice President of TV Guide Inc., and Chairman and C.E.O of TV Guide Entertainment Group and United Video Group, has been appointed President and C.O.O. of TV Guide Inc., reporting to Kiener. Both will remain members of the board of directors.

"TV Guide is a powerful brand which has now established a cohesive strategy across all media platforms. I have great confidence that Joe Kiener and Pete Boylan, along with their strong management team, will emerge as winners in the changing landscape of television guidance," said Anthea Disney.
