The American Experience Launches Three Mile Island Website

The lives of a million people soon hung in the balance; as mechanical failure and human error combined to create the worst nuclear accident in American history. Twenty years later, The American Experience Online Meltdown at Three Mile Island website tells the story of the frantic race to avert nuclear disaster.
