Sombasa Media Launches Bargain Dog Website

Posted on June 2, 1999

Sombasa Media, Inc. has announced the launch of its Bargain Dog website - a new service offering a customized e-mail newsletter reporting the best deals, clearances, and sales from leading online merchants. After registering for the free service, users begin receiving an e-mail newsletter notifying them of online bargains tailored to their interests. Sombasa employs professional shoppers who search the Internet daily for items that sell well below retail and regular online prices.

"Shopping over the Internet is a great way to save time and money. But with so many online retailers, it's becoming increasingly difficult to keep updated on all of their sales and great deals," said Josh Schanker, chief executive officer of Sombasa Media. "Bargain Dog solves this problem by aggregating all of the best bargains from the leading online merchants, and sending them to our subscribers based on their preferences."

Sombasa is an Internet media company that creates interactive content for the web, and provides marketing opportunities for online merchants. Its products include Cyberstox, a fantasy pop-culture exchange game, and the newly launched Bargain Dog. Sombasa Media is headquartered in Boston, MA.
