IDG Debuts eDirections At Windows 2000 Conference and Expo

International Data Group (IDG) has announced eDirections, a publication devoted exclusively to covering Windows 2000. The magazine will premier on February 17 at IDG's Windows 2000 Conference and Expo in San Francisco.

The publication will feature case studies, deployment strategies, solutions directories, executive Q&A's, and how-to articles aimed at providing readers with insights and strategies on the deployment of Windows 2000. Editorial will focus on addressing the reliability, mobility and manageability of the latest applications driving the Windows 2000 platform, and how these applications will leverage the power of the Internet to launch computing into a whole new realm of functionality. With an initial controlled circulation of one million, eDirections will be an 84-page glossy folio with a 50/50 editorial-ad page ratio.

"With the launch of eDirections, we are taking an innovative look at the people, strategies and solutions that are establishing Windows 2000 as one of the most important product launches of the Internet era," said Larry Marion, editorial director. "Currently 50 percent of IT users are planning to evaluate Windows 2000. eDirections will provide these key decision makers with insightful perspectives, lessons learned, upgrade strategies, and real world experiences with this important new operating environment."
