Epigraph Entertainment has announced the launch of Guitar.com, a guitar music site offering entertainment, education and interaction for guitarists and fans of guitar rock. Guitar.com aims to become the premier online resource and community for guitarists.

"The guitar has earned its place as the most popular instrument in the world," says founder and Epigraph President, Josh Schneider. "We hope to unite guitar enthusiasts and build a valuable online community. We see exciting opportunities in this space and have very big plans for Guitar.com."

"From the absolute novice to the touring professional, we provide something for everyone," adds Guitar.com Editor in Chief Jon Wiederhorn. "Our interviews, lessons and columns are being created by the best in the business, and we're taking advantage of every opportunity the Internet has to offer. Nearly every article will be accompanied by audio and video footage, and our community features will allow users to immediately comment on what they've read. They'll also be able to learn more about the rig the artist has used, the manufacturers involved and more. We also invite users to create their own valuable content for the site. Guitar.com is a whole experience."

The launch of Guitar.com will feature stories on Limp Bizkit, Metallica, Jeff Beck, Filter, Megadeth and the Verve Pipe, and upcoming interview subjects include Aerosmith, Live, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Sugar Ray, Lit, Richard Thompson, Leo Kotke, Orgy amd Coal Chamber. In addition, a weekly column called "Pipeline" will offer the latest news unearthed by reporter David Sprague, and Request Magazine Managing Editor, Buzz Morrison, will provide five new record reviews each week. Guitar.com will also provide pages on: artist gear lists; Gear Gab sidebars where artists discuss their rigs and how to emulate their sound; advice from industry experts like guitar techs and product managers; and interactive lessons and tools for guitar players.
