EarthWeb Inc. has announced that it has reached agreements with John Wiley & Sons, Sybex, Artech House and Digital Press, a subdivision of Reed-Elsevier, to license the full-text of their technical books. The books licensed through these deals expands the content available through EarthWeb's paid subscription services.

ITKnowledg is a paid subscription service that offers an online collection of technical books and training materials for the IT industry. With licensed rights to over 3,500 technical books, ITKnowledge covers a wide range of topics including networking, software development, databases and Internet technologies.

"We're very excited to welcome these four leading publishers to the EarthWeb family," said Bill Gollan, Senior Vice President of EarthWeb. "The addition of these publishers dramatically enhances the already rich library of technical information provided by EarthWeb. These new alliances also serve to strengthen the role of ITK as a mission critical tool for IT professionals."
