Byte Italia to Launch in January 1998

The McGraw-Hill Companies' Information Technology and Communications Group (ITCG) is proud to announce its newest local-language partner publication, BYTE Italia, which will include a Lan Times section, starting with the January 1998 issue.

Technimedia srl, an Italian corporation headquartered in Rome, Italy which also publishes "MCmicrocomputer" and runs MC-link, will launch BYTE Italia with an initial circulation of 50,000.

BYTE Italia and Technimedia join over 30 international partners who publish local-language editions of BYTE, Lan Times, Data Communications, and tele.com in more than 20 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America.

BYTE is part of The McGraw-Hill Companies' Information Technology and Communications Group, which also includes Lan Times, Data Communications, and tele.com. BYTE addresses computer professionals who determine the appropriate technology strategy to solve corporate business problems. Coverage is focused on three editorial tracks: networked applications, managing data, and network integration that are crucial to any business leveraging technology in today's competitive market.
