Broadband Intelligence Launches Daily Broadband Publication

New media consulting and analysis firm Broadband Intelligence has announced the launch of its publication, Broadband Daily, a publication devoted to the broadband marketplace. Broadband Daily is targeted at top executives in the cable, telco, broadcast, Internet and technology supply businesses.

The highlight of the issue is an interview with Comcast CEO Brian Roberts, who has just emerged from a bidding war with AT&T over cable company MediaOne. In his interview with Broadband Daily, Roberts describes what the high-profile fight was like and how it was "the most intense thirty days" he ever experienced. He also talks about his company's relationship with investor Microsoft and its leader Bill Gates and shares his views on how cable will solve AOL's complaints about access to cable systems.
