LEGO Batman was followed by Fifty Shades Darker the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey. The sequel opened with $46.7 million which is about half of the box office debut of the original. However, this was still a very healthy opening and the film is even stronger overseas where it made another $100 million. The film stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.
