Twilight Author Stephenie Meyer Talks About Her Path to Publication

Here is a great video of Stephenie Meyer discussing the first three books in the now famous Twilight series: Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse. The video is from August, 2007 before the films made the series a mammoth hit and before she wrote Breaking Dawn.

Meyer says she figured out how to write a query letter through Internet reseearch. She got ten rejections and one letter from an agency that wanted to see more. She says the series was not originally called Twilight. Meyer's story is a pretty inspiring story for aspiring writers. Take a look:
