SNL Skit: Maya Angelou Plays a Prank on Stephen King, Starring Maya Rudolph

Maya Rudolph hosted Saturday Night Live last night. In this skit, Maya impersonates esteemed author and poet Dr. Maya Angelou. The dignified Dr. Angelou has been given her own prank show called I Know Why the Caged Bird Laughs. In the new show, Dr. Angelou plays pranks on her famous friends. She puts a pie on Morgan Freeman's (Jay Pharoah) chair, tampers with Dr. Cornel West's (Kenan Thompson) briefcase and sneaks into Stephen King's (Bill Hader) booksigning to tell him his car has been towed.

Each victim is "honored" to be pranked by the esteemed Dr. Angelou. We can't recall anyone ever doing a Maya Angelous impression and it just struck us as hilarious. Take a look:
