Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty

Moriarty turns the tables on three seemingly happy and responsible couples in her latest pageturner. The unraveling begins at a neighbor's barbecue party on what started out as an ordinary Sunday afternoon. The film rights to this novel have already been optioned by Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman.
The publisher says, "Liane Moriarty takes on some of the most fundamental relationships in our lives: marriage, sex, parenthood, and friendship. She shows how guilt can expose the fault lines in the most seemingly strong relationships, how what we don’t say can be more powerful than what we do, and how too often we don’t appreciate how extraordinary our ordinary lives are until it’s too late."
Here is author Liane Moriarty talking about her novel and her inspiration. She says she herself at a barbecue party experience.
