National Archives and Records Administration
This federal agency provides records to federal records. The website includes records, databases, family history/genealogy research, Federal laws, regulations, notices, exhibits and much more.

National Museum of American History
Information about the museum as well as collections, articles and research materials.

Perseus Project
The Perseus Project is an evolving digital library of resources for the study of the ancient world and beyond. Contains over 225 gigabytes of data.

The American Experience
The American Experience brings to life the incredible characters and epic stories that helped form this nation. An excellent resource.

Victoriana: Resources for Victorian Living
Internet Directory and Library for the 19th century enthusiast. The Library contains articles about the Victorian Era and includes "Harper's Bazar" (a 19th century woman's weekly newspaper)online.

Vietnam Online
An in-depth look at the Vietnam War. The website was a counterpart to a PBS television series.

WPA Life Histories
Life histories written by the staff of the Folklore Project of the Federal Writers' Project from 1936-1940. The Library of Congress collection includes 2,900 documents representing the work of over 300 writers from 24 states.
