Study Finds Playing Tetris May Reduce Impact of PTSD

In the experiment, subjects were asked to view a disturbing film. NBC News reports that the group of subjects that played Tetris in the following week suffered fewer flashbacks than those who did not play Tetris. Take a look:
This is not the first study on using Tetris to reduce the effects of traumatic stress. A BBC News report says a 2009 study found that subjects who played Tetris had fewer flashbacks. In some way Tetris seems to help occupy a person's mental focus so they don't flashback on stressful incidents.
