The Zoetrope: All-Story Short Fiction Competition is an annual literary fiction contest that is now in its 24th year.
The contest is open to literary fiction up to 5,000 words. The prizes include $1000 first prize, $500 second prize and $250 third prize. There will also be seven honorable mentions.
The guest judge for this year's contest is Tea Obreht. Results will be announced on the website on December 15 and in the Spring 2021 issue of Zoetrope: All-Story; and the winning story will be published as a special online supplement to that Spring 2021 edition.
There is a $30 entry fee per story. You can enter multiple times at $30 per story entry. Use the online submission for at Zoetrope to enter the contest.
