  • Less by Sean Greer (Back Bay Books) - Now Read This has selected Less by Andrew Sean Greer as its new pick. The novel follows a struggling writer named Arthur Less. The book club calls it a "a laugh-out-loud comedic novel." The book is also the Pulitzer Prize winner. (June 15, 2018)

  • The Sun Does Shine by Anthony Ray Hilton (St. Martin's Press) - Oprah Winfrey selected The Sun Does Shine by Anthony Ray Hilton for her Oprah's Book Club pick. Oprah says, "You will be swept away into this unbelievable, dramatic true story." (June 5, 2018)

  • Something In The Water by Catherine Steadman (Ballantine Books) - Reese's Book Club has selected Something In the Water for its latest pick. The "something" in the water is discovered by newlyweds on a honeymoon in Bora Bora. Reese says the book is "the perfect beach read." (June 2, 2018)

  • Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney (Hogarth) - The IrishCenteral Book Club has selected Sally Rooney's debut novel, Conversations with Friends for its June pick. The book club calls it a "sharply intelligent novel." (June 1, 2018)

  • You Think It, I'll Say It by Reese Witherspoon (Random House) - The latest pick from the Reese Witherspoon Book Club is Curtis Sittenfeld's story collection, You Think It, I'll Say It. Reese says, "I really loved all the characters in this book. They’re so complex and interesting, and in every story, you’ll find them going through these pivotal moments in their lives." (May 10, 2018)

  • Educated by Tara Westover (Random House) - The PBS News-Hour New York Times book club, Now Read This, has selected the memoir Educated by Tara Westover as its latest pick. Westover obtained a Harvard and Cambridge education despite growing up in a survivalist family in remote Idaho. (May 5, 2018)

  • The Female Persuasion by Meg Wolitzer (Riverhead) - The Female Persuasion by Meg Wolitzer is the first pick of the inaugural Barnes & Noble Book Club. Liz Harwell, Director of Merchandising at Barnes & Noble, calls the novel "a timely story about a young woman who meets a mentor that changes her life." (May 2, 2018)

  • An American Marriage by Tayari Jones (Algonquin) - The new Oprah's Book Club Pick is An American Marriage by Tayari Jones. This is the fourth novel from Jones. Oprah says, "I found myself in that zone readers yearn for: I wanted to cancel all my plans and curl up with my new friends. " (February 8, 2018)
