Ricky Gervais Stars in Trailer for David Brent: Life on the Road

Ricky Gervais stars in the trailer for the feature film David Brent: Life on the Road. Gervais reprises his role of David Brent, the boss from the original English version of the television show The Office. Brent says whatever comes to mind, and what comes out of his mouth is usually cringe-worthy. His time terrorizing his employees at the paper company was watched by millions in the UK and in the US, and led to a highly successful run of the show in the U.S. which starred Steve Carell.

A decade later Brent is starring in a new documentary about his life. In addition to his day job, Brent shows off his questionable skills as a singer-songwriters and follow his quest for fame.His band is called Foregone Conclusions. Fans will be horrified to discover that Brent has embraced rap and reggae. He forces his bandmate to perform totally offensive raps to mystified crowds. The film will hit theaters in the U.K.

U.S. fans will be able to see it after August 19, 2016. Netflix will distribute the film in the U. S. Take a look:
