Nicki Minaj, Tyga and Ice Cube Star in the Trailer for Barbershop 3: The Next Cut

Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer are back in the trailer for Barbershop 3: The Next Cut,. After ten years Calvin's Barbershop has undergone some major changes. Calvin (Ice Cube) has teamed up with the owner of the women's salon to create a co-ed salon that they hope will save costs and increase profits. But the guys aren't so sure about having a women's hair salon in the middle of their barbershop.

The crew at Calvin's has many things to deal with, some of which are a lot more serious than having women disrupting the manly conversations at the barbershop. The neighborhood has gotten more dangerous over time and Calvin is worried about raising his kids in such an environment. When the shop gets hit by a drive by shooting, the gang determines to do something to save the shop -- and the neighborhood.

The cast for the third film in the series includes Nicki Minaj, who is making her film debut. Nicki plays Draya, a stylist who has plenty of moxie and some of the trailer's best lines. The film also stars Common, Anthony Anderson, Regina Hall, Garcelle Beauvais, Sean Patrick Harris, Troy Garrity, Eve, Lamorne Morris and Eve.

Malcolm D. Lee directed the comedy written by Kenya Barris (Black-ish). It hits theaters on April 15, 2016. Take a look:
