Nia Vardalos and John Corbett Star in Trailer for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2

2003's My Big Fat Greek Wedding was a huge hit and it's hard to believe that it's taken so long for the sequel to happen. But it's here and the trailer is hilarious, so it's all good. Nia Vardalos and John Corbett return as Toula and Ian Miller, who are happily married. Now the couple is facing two family crises at once. Their daughter Paris (Elena Kampouris) wants to go to a college far away from her boisterous Greek family. But it gets worse.

Toula's parents Gus (Michael Constantine) and Maria (Lainie Kazan) Portokalos are not really married. The priest made a mistake and never turned in the wedding certificate and now another wedding must be planned immediately. Naturally things do not go smoothly.

The trailer shows that the Portokalos family hasn't lost any of their personality or spunk in the ensuing years. If anything, they are even more involved in their children's lives than before. When Paris announces she is going far away to school Toula wails, "Why do you want to leave me?" Her father zings her right back, "Payback!" After all that's exactly the same conversation Toula and her dad had years ago.

The film was written by Nia Vardalos and directed by Kirk Jones. John Stamos, Alex Wolff, Rita Wilson, Jayne Eastwood, Louis Mandylor, joey Fatone and Gia Carides co-star in the film which hits theaters March 25, 2016. Take a look:
