Matthew McConaughey Talks True Detectives With Jimmy Fallon

Matthew McConaughey was a guest on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to talk about his new show on HBO, True Detectives. Matthew co-stars with Woody Harrelson as two detectives who set out to solve a murder. The series is set in Southern Louisiana. Matthew said he read the script and immediately signed on the for the project. It looks quite compelling.
Matthew says, "It is as good of writing as I've ever seen." There are only eight episodes in the series. Matthew's character, Detective Rusty Cohle, wants to go for a beer run while he is being interrogated in the clip. It does not appear that he will take no for an answer. Take a look:
