Showtime has released the first trailer for Roadies, its new comedy which was created by Cameron Crowe (Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, Aloha). This is Crowe's first television show and it has a ten episode first season. The hour long show stars Luke Wilson, Carla Gugino and Imogen Poots, and follows the backstage lives of the road crew for a major rock band. The show will debut on June 26th.

Crowe told Entertainment Weekly that the idea for the show happened 8 years ago when he was talking to J.J. Abrams (who is executive producing the show). He told EW, "J.J. and I both came up at the same time working with Jim Brooks, so we became friends. And then one time we just started pitching. He said, 'I went to this show, and I looked up, and I saw this girl on a rigging tower, and I just wondered, 'What is her world like?' And I was like, 'Well, I’ll tell you what her world is like,' and we started talking and he's like, 'You know, this is your show.' I said, 'Wow, okay." We never see the band, we never hear the band. It’s about the people. It’s about that girl and those people that disappear when the lights go down."

The show also stars Rafe Spall, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Peter Cambor, Machine Gun Kelly and Ron White. Guest stars include Luis Guzman, Jacqueline Byers, Finesse Mitchell, Branscombe Richmond and Tanc Sade. Take a look:
