Mindy Kaling Stars in the Book Trailer for B.J. Novak's New Fiction Collection

This is the best book trailer we have ever seen, no question. Mindy Kaling agreed to help out longtime collaborator B.J. Novak with the book trailer for his new book from Knopf, One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories which will be released on February 4, 2014. In this short film Novak plays a struggling writer who will do anything to impress Mindy's character who is French, smokes constantly and wears a lot of hats (they all smoke incessantly, actually).

She also loves quoting Jean-Paul Sartre. When the young writer finally publishes his book, he goes to the cafe where she and the other literati gather to show her that he also is a writer of note now. At that point it gets even funnier. Is it French? Is is New Wave? All signs point to...yes. Take a look:
