Merriam-Webster Adds 150 New Words for 2011 Including Tweet, Bromance and Parkour

Merriam-Webster has added 150 new words to its 2011 Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary. Some of the new words include tweet, bromance, parkour, helicopter parent, fist bump, duathlon, walk-off, crowdsourcing, social media and robocall. The word tweet already existed, but it now has two meanings in the dictionary. The two definitions are "a chirping note" and "a post made on the Twitter online message service."
