Joss Whedon Discusses His Adaptation of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing

Joss Whedon talked to MTV at the Toronto Film Festival where he premiered his new film, an adaptation of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, which he wrote and directed just a few days after wrapping The Avengers. He shot the entire film in his own home in twelve days. He says he loved directing in his own home, but it confused his kids: "For me, to roll out of bed at six and say action, is terrific, It's great - if you're not my kids."

Joss explains, "There was one point where my son came down for breakfast and asked, 'Where are the people I know?' Because it was filled with crew." There is a lot of Marvel and Avengers in his future, but Joss says he'd love to do more Shakespeare. The film stars Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Fran Kranz, Clark Gregg, Reed Diamond and Nathan Fillion. The film doesn't have a release date yet, but reviews are excellent. Take a look:
