Livingston Seagull is in
serious condition after crashing his small plane. He was flying to visit a friend on San Juan Island in Washington State when he clipped a power line, causing him to crash. He was found by some tourists and taken to a local hospital with a severe head injury. Bach is 76 and has flown planes all his life.
Bach was fling a single engine airplane. The crash left him in the plane, hanging upside down in his harness. The tourists cut him loose, A helicopter flew him to
Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Bach's son told reporters today that his father had a breathing tube, so he couldn't speak, but was responding to commands from medical staff. He also has a broken shoulder. We wish him a speedy and full recovery.
