Stephen Colbert sat down for a conversation with Maurice Sendak, author of Where the Wild Things Are. Sendak reaffirmed that he does not think he writes children's books. Sendak also said book signings are "dreadful." Sendak does not like being asked about writing a sequel to Where the Wild Things Are, so, of course, Colbert asked him about it. Colbert suggested Vin Diesel should be in the sequel. Colbert also edited a copy of Sendak's often banned book, In the Night Kitchen. Take a look:
